We compare games against the same opponent at the same venue. A win after a draw adds two points. A loss after a win subtracts three. Squads, injuries and match dates can still affect results. How we compare games.
Common questions
What does the +/- column mean?
The +/- column shows the change in points from the same games last season. +10 means ten more points. -10 means ten fewer.
How are promoted teams compared?
We compare promoted teams with clubs relegated last season. On a promoted team’s page, you can choose which relegated club to compare with.
What is xG (expected goals)?
Expected goals (xG) estimates how many goals a team would usually score from its chances. We show xG only when both seasons have data for the games being compared. Missing data does not count as zero.
How often is data updated?
We check for updates five times a day during the season. New results may take time to reach our data provider.
